The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 83/2025 arising out of Sarwan P.S. Case No. 72/2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 139/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 376(2)(n), 504, 506 & 34 of the I.P.C. subsequently charge has been framed under Section 376(2)(n) of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-IX, Deoghar. 3. On 21.06.2022, petitioner is alleged to have raped the prosecutrix. When the prosecutrix threatened that she would tell her family members about the occurrence, petitioner promised to marry her. 4. It appears that statement of prosecutrix was recorded during the Trial. 5. Report regarding the stage of trial and time required for its conclusion, earlier called for, has been received. It appears that out of seven charge-sheeted witnesses, four witnesses have already been examined. It further appears that trial is likely to be concluded within three months. 6. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that trial is under progress, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 7. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial and preferably concluded the same within three months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence. (Ambuj Nath, J.) 22.09.2025 Rahul/-
