Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State counsel for opposite parties. 2. The present petition has been filed seeking the following main relief:- "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties to allow the petitioner to retain the Government Quarter No.8, Type-I, Madiyaon Police Station Campus, District Lucknow until and unless he has not been allotted quarter at transferred place. (ii). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 to take a decision on reply of petitioner dated 08.05.2025 contained as Annexure No.4 to this petition, within stipulated time framed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Since consideration of petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, without entering into merits of the case, liberty is granted to petitioner to file a fresh representation before opposite party No.2 i.e. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Lines, Police Commissionerate, Lucknow. In case such a representation is filed, the same shall be decided within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority.
