ORDER It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Special Government Pleader that the petitioner in, W.P. No. 35070 of 2024, for which the present contempt petition is filed, has obtained a favorable order by suppressing crucial facts. 2.The Learned Special Government Pleader would further contend that even before the writ petition was filed, in which the petitioner sought a Page No.1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CONT P No. 3869 of 2025 mandamus to compel the government to refer his claim to a Civil Court, the petitioner had already executed a registered sale deed for the very same 556 sq. ft. property, which is the subject matter of the above said writ petition, in favour of the State, and had already received the full sale consideration for the said property. 3.It is thus, argued that the petitioner has deliberately suppressed the above facts when seeking court intervention, thereby obtaining an order in WP.No/35070 of 2024 under false pretences. 4.The petitioner has deliberately misused the contempt jurisdiction of this Court based on the order that he had obtained by suppression of facts. However, the above fact was also not brought to the notice of the Court during the hearing of the Writ Petition. 5.Therefore, the contempt petition is dismissed as there is no ground for contempt. No costs.
