Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Satbarwa P.S. case no. 122 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 103 (1) and 238 (a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj. On 15.10.2024 at 7.00 p.m., son of the Informant Sakendra Sao was murdered by unknown persons. It is alleged that suspicion has been raised upon this petitioner who was having illicit relationship with the husband of the Informant. Learned lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that apart from confession of the co-accused, there is no other material against her on the record. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this court earlier. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj in connection with Satbarwa P.S. case no. 122 of 2024.
