Heard Sri Ram Singh Verma, Advocate holding brief of Sri Himanshu Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This petition has been filed with following main prayer:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing to opposite parties particularly opposite party no.2 and 3 to conduct fair, proper and expeditious investigation of the impugned First Information Report No. 201 of 2025, under Sections 356(2) B.N.S and Section 3/4 of D.P.Act, 1961 at Police Station Chinhat, District Lucknow dated 02.05.2025 lodged by petitioner(contained as Annexure No.1), in the interest of justice. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the F.I.R. was lodged on 02.05.2025, but till date, investigation has not been concluded. 4. Per contra, learned A.G.A. for the State, on the basis of instructions, submits that the investigation is going on. He further submits that the investigation shall be concluded expeditiously. 5. In view of above, this petition is disposed of with direction to the S.S.P./S.P., Lucknow to ensure that the investigation is concluded expeditiously, failing which, the petitioner shall have liberty to approach the concerned Magistrate in view of judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court rendered in the case of Sakiri Vasu vs. State of Uttar Pradesh and others; (2008) 2 SCC 409.
