This petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the Respondent No. 2 (Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow) to expeditiously process and reissue the Petitioner's passport with the Date of Birth as 01.10.2000, within a time-bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. It has been submitted by learned Counsel for the respondents, on the basis of instructions received from the respondent no.2, that the petitioner has not applied online in the proper format for change of date of birth. 4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make an appropriate application online for change of date of birth. On his making such application within a week, necessary orders be passed by the respondent no.2, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks thereafter.
