GP FOR HOME THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 17404 of 2020 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue a Writ Order or direction particularly, one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not conducting the further investigation in respect of crime No.157 of 2020 dated 27-8-2020 on the file of Bapatla Rural Police Station of Guntur district as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and also violations of Article 14,16,19 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to arrest the accused in the above Crime in preventing to commit further commission of offence and to file charge sheet as early as possible in accordance with law and pass.…” 2. Heard Sri J. Sravan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that respondents are not conducting further investigation in respect of Cr.No.157 of 2020 of Bapatla Rural Police Station, Guntur District. Learned counsel would further submit that a direction may be given to the police. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit the Court may pass an appropriate order. 5. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy before the appropriate forum according to law. There shall be no order as to costs.
