The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of 2nd respondent in constituting a Managing Committee for Waqf Institutions namely Eidgah & Mosque situated at Dhone Town and Mandal, Nandyal District, registered and notified Waqf Institution published in AP Gazettee No.18-A dated 02.05.1963 and without conducting elections as per the Regulations 5 of the AP Waqf managing committee (Constitutions, functions and duties) Regulations, 2009, as illegal and arbitrary. 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 30.04.2025 to the 3rd respondent to constitute a Committee. The 2nd respondent is taking steps to constitute a Committee based on the letter addressed by the local MLA. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 would submit that the 2nd respondent will adhere to Regulation 5 of the Regulations, 2009. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of learned counsel on either side, directing respondents 2 and 3 to adhere to Regulation 5 of the Regulations, 2009, and to pass appropriate orders. There shall be no order as to costs.
