Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Pulak Malakar, is stated to be in custody since 03.08.2025 praying for grant of bail in connection with Silchar P.S. Case Page No.# 2/2 No.786/2025 under Sections 125/271/318(4) / 319(2)/336(4)/340(2)/112(2) of BNS added Section 110 of BNS. 3. The gist of allegation in the ejahar dated 29.07.2025 is that the present accused illegally practicing medicine even though he is not a qualified allopathic doctor. It is alleged that he has also conducted surgery. 4. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that two other cases have been registered against him and he was enlarged on bail in one case. 5. Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the case diary and vehemently opposed granting of bail. It is submitted that he had already caused irreparable damage to one patient by his illegal acts. Pointing out to a document, learned Public Prosecutor submits that the concerned accused has not even passed 12th standard. 6. I have perused the statement of one lady/patient recorded under Section 183 BNSS. 7. Considering the nature of the allegation and the materials revealed it may not be prudent to grant bail to the accused at this stage also. 8.
