This instant petition, under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, has been filed for a direction to the court of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Court No.16, Meerut to decide Special Case No.130 of 2024, (State vs. Aasif & others) arising out of Case Crime No.237 of 2023 under Sections 323, 506, 304, 308 and 34 IPC, Police station Jani District Meerut, expeditiously, preferably within a stipulated period. 3. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending at the stage of exchange of pleadings. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, learned court of Additional District & Sessions Judge, Court No.16, Meerut is hereby directed to expedite and finalize the proceedings of the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 16 months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 5. Learned counsel for petitioner assures that petitioner will fully cooperate with the learned court concerned for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid case. 6.
