The petitioner is arraigned as accused in Cr.No.25 of 2025 on the file of the Yadamari Police Station, Chittoor District. The said crime was registered for the offences under Sections 118(1), 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor states that the offences are punishable with seven (07) years or less than seven (07) years. 3. In that view of the matter, the present Criminal Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission directing the concerned police to follow the procedure prescribed under Section 35(3) of the BNSS, 2023 as well as the guidelines enunciated in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar1.
