OMP(M) No. 15 of 2025 The present application has been filed for condonation of delay in filing the present appeal. It has been averred in the application that the impugned judgment was passed by the learned District Judge on 27.06.2024, after which a legal opinion was sought by the office of the appellant with respect to challenging the same. Thereafter, upon obtaining the legal opinion, prompt action was taken by filing the present appeal. Accordingly, the delay occurred due to unavoidable circumstances which were beyond the control of the present applicant. It has further been averred that the delay in filing the present appeal is neither intentional nor deliberate, but has occurred on account of bona fide reasons, as stated in the application. In view of the averments made in the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, and in view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present application is allowed and the delay of 187 days in filing the appeal is condoned.
