The writ petition was earlier disposed of vide order dated 26.09.2025 considering the prayer seeking decision on the representation filed by the petitioner. 2. However, respondent no.7 preferred a Special Appeal No. 1143 of 2025 (Ramsagar Singh Vs. State of U.P. and 7 Another) on the ground that even if a direction is to be issued for deciding the representation, once he was impleaded as a respondent in the writ petition, he ought to have been afforded an opportunity of hearing. In view of the said assertion, the intra-court appeal was disposed of vide judgment dated 05.01.2026, directing the respondent no.7 to appear in the present writ petition and respond appropriately. However, when the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the respondent no.7 is not present. 3. In the interest of justice, the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this order on the counsel for the respondent no.7, who shall be present before this court on the next date fixed, failing which the court shall be at liberty to proceed with the hearing. 4.
