Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 108 of 2025, for the offence registered under Section 96 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar. Petitioner is alleged to have enticed away the daughter of the informant with intention to marry her. It is alleged that both the petitioner and the victim have married and victim is residing in her matrimonial home. It was submitted that statement of the victim has been recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S. in which she has stated that she has left her lawful guardianship according to her own wish. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S.
