Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. The Branch Manager of the respondent-Bank submits that the freezing account has been withdrawn by the Block Development Officer. Furthermore, the police authorities had sought for freezing of the account on November 3, 2025, but had not acted in accordance with law as they had not informed the Magistrate of the instructions for freezing of the account. Subsequently, after filing of the writ petition, on December 5, 2025, the police authorities have informed the Magistrate of the said freezing of the account. 3. The entire action by both the Block Development Officer and the police authorities is clearly against the principles established in law and cannot be allowed to stand. The actions of freezing of the bank account are in flagrant violation of the provisions of the law and are accordingly required to be quashed and set aside. 4. In light of the same, both the letters seeking freezing of the bank account are quashed and set aside with a direction upon the bank authorities to immediately allow the petitioner to function her bank account. 5.
