JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR BHARWANI Order 17/09/2025 In the present matter, the learned Appellate Court, while upholding the conviction recorded by the learned Trial Court, set aside the sentence and extended the benefit of Section 4 of the Probation of Offenders Act to the accused-petitioner. The petitioner was directed to furnish a bail bond and his own surety bond of Rs.10,000/- each for a period of two years. Since the aforesaid period has already elapsed, the present petition has rendered infructuous and the same may be dismissed as such.
