That apart, the petitioner cannot claim any right for assignment of the subject property in his favour. 5.In view of the above, the request made by the petitioner seeking seeking assignment of the subject land cannot be considered. Thus, the writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
