GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO.14398 of 2025 ORDER: 1. The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondent authorities in not paying an amount of Rs.3,00,718/- due to the Petitioner even after finalizing the bills in relation to work vide vide Agreement No.674-A/2023-24, dated 16.12.2023, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. At the time of hearing, learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent-Municipality passed on the written instructions signed by the Commissioner, Rayachoty Municipality, wherein the work executed by the Petitioner and the amount due to the Petitioner were not disputed. In the written instructions, it is stated that necessary steps have been taken up for passing of the bill, but the payment due to the Petitioner is not made due to financial priorities of the Government and it is stated that whenever the funds released under GGMP-HIW Grant, the payment will be made without any delay. 3. In that view, as there is no dispute with regard to execution of work by the Petitioner and amount due to the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission, with the consent of both sides counsel, with the following directions; 4 (i) The Respondent authorities are directed to pay the amount due to the Petitioner within a period of four (4) months from today; (ii) No order as to costs. 6.
