At the very outset, learned AGA, on the basis of instructions sent by Sri Prakash Singh, Sub Inspector Police Station-Aliganj, District Lucknow, states that the complicity of the petitioner has emerged as he has been found to be purchasing stolen articles. After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to pursue other remedies that may be available to him under law. Learned counsel for respondents has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty.
