Urimila Rani Patro, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is against the action of the respondents in interfering with the possession of the petitioner over subject property of an extent of Ac.4.00 cents in Sy.No.356 of T.P. Kota Village, Nagalapuram Mandal, Tirupati District, without following due process of law. The petitioner sought for a consequential direction not to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property. 3. It is contended that the petitioner was assigned DKT Patta in respect of the subject land and he has been in occupation of the same. In recognition of his title and possession, the revenue authorities have also mutated the name of the petitioner in the revenue records and pattadar pass books were also 3 been issued, however, the respondents are interfering with the possession of the petitioner. 4. When the matter has been taken up for consideration today, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed a copy of instructions from the Tahsildar, dated 08.10.2025 received by her in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that, for the last twenty (20) years, no possession of the petitioner has been shown in respect of the subject land. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner disputes the same and places reliance on the latest I-B Adangal, which reflects the name of the petitioner. 6. Having regard to the same, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondents not to interfere with the possession of the petitioner’s subject property. However, if the possession of the petitioner is found to be unauthorized the respondents shall follow due process of law before evicting the petitioner from the subject property. 7. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
