The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondent-Development Authority to decide the applications/representations dated 16.12.2024 and 24.01.2025 within a stipulated time and not to take any coercive action against the petitioners during the pendency of the writ petition. 2. It is evident from paragraph 7 of the writ petition that some order has been passed by the respondent-Development Authority against the petitioners to stop development work. The said order is not under challenge before us. The representations are with regard to compounding of illegal constructions. 3. Learned counsel for the Development Authority states that it will examine the compounding plan and take appropriate decision. 4. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of in terms of the stand taken by the Development Authority. The representation/application shall be decided in accordance with law expeditiously.
