This application has been filed by the applicant seeking anticipatory bail in Sessions Case No. 339 of 2022, under Sections 376-D IPC and Section 5g/6 Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Police Station Shivali, District Kanpur Dehat. 3. The applicant has sought anticipatory bail inter alia for the offence under Section 6 of the POCSO Act. Anticipatory bail in a matter in which life imprisonment can be awarded is not maintainable as per section 438(6)(b) of Criminal Procedure Code. 4. In view of the above, I am not inclined to interfere in the present matter. 5. Accordingly, the application stands rejected.
