Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents. [2] The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer, inter alia, for issuing a direction to the respondents to link up the past ad- hoc services rendered by the petitioners prior to the date of regularization of ad-hoc service as qualifying service only for the purpose of availing pensionary and other retirement benefit. [3] At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the Principal Secretary/Commissioner/Secretary (CAF&PD), Government of LAISHRA M DHAKESH ORI DEVI Digitally signed by LAISHRAM DHAKESHORI DEVI Date: 2025.03.12 15:19:08 +05'30' WP(C)No. 721 of 2024 Page 2 Manipur to consider the representation dated 06-09-2024 submitted by the petitioners strictly on its own merit and keeping in mind the judgment and order dated 11-10-2022 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 721 of 2020 and the Office Memorandum dated 11-12- 2023 issued by the Secretary (CAF & PD), Government of Manipur and to dispose of the same by issuing an appropriate order within a stipulated period. [4] Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that she has no objection in disposing of the present writ petition as prayed for by the counsel appearing for the petitioners. [5] In view of the submission made by the counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the record, this Court is of the considered view that the interests of justice will be served by issuing the following directions :- (i) The Principal Secretary/Commissioner/Secretary (CAF&PD), Government of Manipur is hereby directed to consider the representation dated 06-09-2024 submitted by the petitioner strictly on its own merit and keeping in mind the judgment and order dated 11-10-2022 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 721 of 2020 and the Office WP(C)No. 721 of 2024 Page 3 Memorandum dated 11-12-2023 issued by the Secretariat, Finance Department, Government of Manipur and to dispose of the same by issuing an appropriate order; (ii) It is made clear that the whole exercise should be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
