The impugned suspension order dated 12.09.2024 has been passed by the Superintending Engineer/respondent No.3 in contemplation of a departmental enquiry which in turn was figured by an act of misconduct of the petitioner. The suspension order dated 12.09.2024 records that the petitioner had failed to take appropriate action against the consumer who was unlawfully using a transformer. No interference is warranted in the impugned order of suspension. Faced with this, Shri R.K.Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the reliefs sought in the writ petition. He recasts the reliefs. He submits that the inquiry proceedings may be concluded in a stipulated period of time. In wake of the aforesaid submissions and without going into the merits of the case, interest of justice will be served by directing the disciplinary authority to conclude the inquiry proceedings within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to cooperate in the inquiry proceedings. With the aforesaid direction the writ petition is disposed of.
