Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding the opposite parties to rectify the petitioner's basic salary in accordance with the pay to which he was legally entitled during his service period and to disburse the arrears along with all consequential benefits, together with interest, to the petitioner." 3. Since petitioner's grievances would require consideration of factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to make a fresh representation before opposite party No. 3 i.e. Finance Controller, Uttar Pradesh Police Headquarter, Lucknow, U.P. In case such a representation is filed, the same is required to be decided within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. 4.
