The instant application is preferred seeking impleadment of the following incumbent as party-respondents in the connected contempt petition, Cont.Cas[C] no. 507/2024. [i] Smt. Keerthi Jalli, IAS, Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam, Juripar, Panjabari, Guwahati – 37 [ii] Smt. Masanda M. Pertin, IAS, District Commissioner, Kokrajhar, District – Kokrajhar, Assam, 783370 It is averred that the earlier incumbents holding the office of the Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development Department and District Commissioner, Kokrajhar have been replaced by the proposed party-respondents. In view of the above averments, the instant interlocutory application seeking impleadment is allowed. The learned counsel for the applicant-petitioner shall file amended in terms of the Notification no. 79 dated 19.06.2023. On filing such amended cause-title by the learned counsel for the applicant-petitioner, the office to cause necessary correction in the cause-title of the contempt petition as well as in the CIS.
