Jitender Singh Rangta vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and others
CWP No.3993 of 2021
23.09.2025 Present Mr. Adarsh K. Vashista, Advocate, for the non- applicants/ petitioners.
Mr. Anup Rattan, Advocate General with Mr. Rajan Kahol, Mr. Vishal Panwar and Mr. B.C.Verma, Additional Advocate Generals and Mr. Ravi Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, for the respondent-State.
Mr. Shekhar Badola, Advocate, for the applicants/proposed respondents.
CMP Nos.17018, 17019, 22551 and 22552 of 2025
By way of instant applications, prayer has been made on behalf of the applicants for their impleadment as party respondents. Though, no reply to the applications has been filed on behalf of the non-applicants/petitioners, but learned counsel representing the non-applicants/petitioners, while referring to order dated 07.07.2025 passed by Division Bench of this Court in CWP No. 3471 of 2025, titled M/s Bharat Cuisine Services vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and others, states that since main petition stands disposed of, as a result of which, this Court has become functus officio so as to entertain these applications.
Having carefully perused order dated 07.07.2025, there appears to be merit in the contention of learned counsel for the non-applicants/petitioners. Once it is not in dispute that main matter wherein these applications have been filed stand decided vide judgment dated 07.04.2025, proposed applicants, if any, aggrieved of the order are required to file appropriate
proceedings in appropriate Court of law but certainly they cannot be ordered to be impleaded in disposed of matter.
In view of the above, all the applications are dismissed being devoid of merit.
