Vijayanand Sharma, learned Sr. PCCG, appearing for respondent Nos. 1-5, submitted that he has received instructions from the authorities that the representation dated 10.02.2025 submitted by the petitioner has been duly considered by the authorities and the authorities have taken a decision to re-examine the medical fitness of the petitioner by referring the petitioner to the RIMS Hospital for latest specialist opinion for psychiatric evaluation on 05.03.2025. Thereafter, the concerned specialist of the RIMS in the Department of Psychiatry has given a certificate to the effect that the petitioner is not taking any alcohol in the past 1 year (since April, 2024) & observing motivation and compliance to the treatment and that the detailed mental study examination & history revealed no active psychopathology is present and that he is fit to resume his normal duties with immediate effect. Vjayanand, learned Sr. PCCG appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 5, that he has also received instructions from the authorities that the service of the petitioner has no yet been terminated and as such, there is no cause for adjudication in this writ petition and the present writ petition can be closed. Mrs. G. Pushpa, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner has already been examined by the specialist of the RIMS and after such examination and evaluation a certificate dated 05.03.2025 has been given by the concerned specialist which has been indicated hereinabove. In view of the submission made above, this Court is of the considered view that no cause survives for adjudication in this writ petition and the present writ petition is hereby closed. JUDGE Indrajeet
