19.05.2025 CM APPL. 30678/2025 (exemption)
Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
CM(M) 938/2025
1. Petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his complaint which is pending adjudication before the learned National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (in short NCDRC)
2. It is informed that case is already at the stage of final arguments.
3. As per prayer, petitioner seeks direction to learned NCDRC to dispose of the complaint in a definite timeframe. Such request does not look to be sustainable as no specific reason has been assigned suggesting any acute exigency or extreme hardships. Mere fact that complainant has to recover his hard-earney money would not mean anything substantial, in present context.
4. Petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to move appropriate application in this regard before the learned NCDRC and this Court expects that as and when any such application is moved, same is considered by learned NCDRC in accordance with law.
5. Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
