Heard. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the information sought by the petitioner has not been provided. 3. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 submits that an information has been sent vide letter dated 10.10.2024 to the petitioner to appear before the concerned authority and the concerned Information Officer was directed to provide the necessary documents which the petitioner has sought. However, the petitioner failed to appear. 4. Upon this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when he appeared before the Public Information Officer for one or another reason, the same has not been provided to the petitioner, as such, the petitioner has filed this Petition. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Public Information Officer i.e. Secretary Gram Panchayat- Kenvara, Janpad Panchayat- Pratappur, District- Surajpur is directed to provide the information to the petitioner after releasing the requisite fees forthwith. The petitioner is directed to appear before the Secretary, Gram Panchayat Kevara on 07.05.2025 and, if possible, on the same date, the documents shall be provided to the petitioner after releasing the required fees. If on the same date, it could not be given, then it should be provided to the petitioner by 12.05.2025. 6. It is made clear that the violation of this order will be treated as contempt of the Court’s order. 3 7. With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), the present petition stands disposed of.
