Present Appeal has been filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 challenging the Award dated 30.01.2014, passed by learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Vth Additional District Judge, Haridwar in Motor Accident Claim Petition No.86 of 2012, whereby, the learned Tribunal directed the Insurance Company to pay Rs.42,74,270/- as compensation amount along with 6% interest from the date of the petition till its actual payment. 2. Heard Mr. Prabhat Pande, learned counsel for the appellant-Insurance Company and Mr. Shailendra Nauriyal, 2025:UHC:2169 2 learned counsel for the respondents/claimants. 3. Mr. Prabhat Pande, Advocate submitted that present appeal has been filed on the ground that the claimants are entitled to claim the compensation amount of Rs.41,06,860/- only in place of Rs.42,74,270/-. 4. Mr. Shailendra Nauriyal, Advocate submitted that the respondent no.1-claimant Smt. Preeti filed her affidavit dated 29.09.2024. As per the said affidavit, the claimants are ready to accept the said amount i.e. Rs.41,06,860/- as compensation from the Insurance Company. 5. Mr. Prabhat Pande, Advocate submitted that the said amount i.e. Rs.41,06,860/- along with interest, as awarded by the learned Tribunal, shall be paid to the claimants within six weeks from today after adjusting the amount, which has been deposited before the Tribunal. 6. On the request of learned counsel for both the parties, the present Appeal From Order (AO No.125 of 2014) is disposed of accordingly. 7.
