The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondent authorities to make available all the vacancies of the teachers in class 6 to 8 in Mehsana district without excluding the vacancies in Class 6 to 8 which are temporarily occupied by the surplus teachers of class 1 to 5 for the purpose of undertaking the online transfer process. 2. The learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3 submits that the petition is of the year 2021, during which, there was a provision for permitting the surplus teachers of Class 1 to 5 to temporarily occupy the posts meant for imparting education in Class 6 to 8. She submits that during pendency of this writ petition, that policy is no longer subsisting and new policy has come into force. C/SCA/2840/2021 ORDER DATED: 23/06/2025 3. In light of the above statement, it is obvious that the prayers made in the present writ petition could not survive for consideration. The writ petition is, therefore, DISPOSED OF accordingly. 4.
