Somashekar, C.J.) 12.09.2025 [1] The proceeding in MC(WP(Crl.)) No. 4 of 2025 has been initiated by the applicant/petitioner for seeking impleadment of particular person which is indicating in this application to be arrayed as party in WP(Crl.) No. 12 of 2025. [2] The learned counsel Md. Ajmal Hussain assisted by Basei Roja Shahni for the applicant/petitioner is present before the court physically. Similarly, the learned DGA Mr. Phungyo Zingkhei for the respondents No. 1, 2 and 4 and inclusive of the learned counsel Ms. Pamchui for the respondents No. 3 are also present before the court physically. [3] However, the learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner Md. No. 12 of 2025. Therefore, the aforesaid counsel in this matter submitting that reasons stated are required to be considered. [4] On the contrary, the learned DGA Mr. Phungyo Zingkhei for the respondents No. 1, 2 and 4 and inclusive of the learned counsel Ms. Pamchui for the respondents No. 3 fairly submitting that this impleadment application may be considered. [5] Therefore, keeping in view the submission made by the learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner and inclusive of the submission made by the learned DGA for the respondents No. 1, 2 and 4 and also inclusive of the learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 are concerned, it is deemed appropriate that the reasons stated in the impleadment application are found to be justifiable and acceptable. Consequently, the aforesaid miscellaneous application in MC(WP(Crl.)) No. 4 of 2025 filed under the relevant provision of Order 1 Rule 10(2) and Section 151 of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 is hereby considered in the interest of justice. [6] On consideration of this application, it is deemed appropriate that the counsel for the applicant/petitioner be directed to carry out the amendment in the cause title of WP(Crl.) No. 12 of 2025 by arraying the District Magistrate, Thoubal District, Manipur as respondent No. 5 in the said proceeding. 3 | P a g e [7] In the meanwhile, the learned DGA Mr. Phungyo Zingkhei be directed to accept the process in respect of the newly impleaded respondent No. 5 in WP(Crl.) No. 12 of 2025. [8] The counsel for the applicant/petitioner be directed to furnish copy of the amended cause title of the aforesaid writ petition in WP(Crl.) No. 12 of 2025 to the aforesaid learned DGA for the respondents No. 1, 2 and 4 as well as the learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 for the purpose of reference. Accordingly, passing an order.
