The petitioners, through the medium of the present petition, seek a direction to the respondents to issue a fresh schedule for counseling in respect of the D.E.L.E.D ncourse for the academic session 2019–2021. 02. Notice in this petition was issued on 30.01.2022, and the respondents were directed to file their counter affidavit. 03. There has been no representation on behalf of the petitioners on the last two consecutive dates of hearing, i.e., 03.12.2020 and 09.07.2021. Even today, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioners. 04. Mr. B.S. Bali, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the academic session in question has already come to an end and three subsequent academic sessions have concluded. 05. He further places reliance on the order passed in WP(C) No. 264/2020, decided on 23.10.2020, which was dismissed by this Court on similar grounds, and prays for a similar treatment in the present case. 06. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the present petition. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
