GP FOR PANCHAYAT RAJ RURAL DEV (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “…..to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of 3rd respondent in not allowing the petitioner to join in the post of Field Assistant working in Kondagudem Gram Panchayat in Santhakaviti Mandal of Srikakulam District pursuant to proceedings in Rc.No.265/2017/EGS/HR, dt. 03.01.2018 passed by the 2nd respondent thereby directed the 3rd respondent to reinstate the petitioner into the service for the aforesaid post as illegal, irregular, arbitrary, non-discharge of legal obligation conferred under the provisions of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme Act, 2005 and offends Articles 14 and 2 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service for the said post and pass such other order or orders……” 2. Sri Srinivas Ambati, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the relief has become infructuous and petition may be disposed of. 3. Learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, appearing for the respondents, is in attendance. 4.
