HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD LUCKNOW WRIT - A No. - 13951 of 2025 Court No. - 18 HON'BLE SHREE PRAKASH SINGH, J. Mr. Pratul Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondents raised two fold objections-one that the present petition is not maintainable as there is remedy which has not been exhausted by the petitioner before the Central Administrative Tribunal and the second one is that from prayer clause, it is apparent that the prayer has wrongly been sought while seeking writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner under the provisions of U.P. Recruitment of Dependents of Government Employees Dying-in-harness Rules, 1974, whereas these rules are not applicable to the employees of BSNL. Learned counsel for the petitioner has failed to refute the aforesaid contentions. In view of the above, present petition is hereby dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
