Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Chetna Manhas, Advocate vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE ORDER (19.03.2025) 01. The instant contempt petition has been preferred against the order/judgment passed by this Court on 30.09.2022 whereby the writ petition, preferred by the petitioner was disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 3 to take appropriate decision on the application dated 03.03.2021 submitted by the petitioner in accordance with the law and the rules occupying the field. 02. Since, the aforesaid order was not complied with within the period of six weeks as directed by this Court, the instant contempt petition was preferred by the petitioner in which notice was issued on 12.02.2024. The respondents have filed detailed compliance report, a perusal whereof reveals that the order/judgment stands complied with and a detailed consideration order dated 25.10.2024 has been passed which has also been placed on record with the compliance report. A copy of the said compliance report has been furnished before this Court which is taken on record. 03. By virtue of the aforesaid consideration order, the case of the petitioner has been given due consideration in compliance to the order/judgment passed by this Court and the same has been found devoid of any merit. Thus, in light of the stand taken by the respondents in the compliance report and also passing of the detailed consideration order in this regard, no fruitful purpose will be served to keep this contempt petition pending as the order/judgment S. No. 17 CCP(S) 21/2024 in WP(C) No. 2072/2022 stands complied with. Accordingly, proceedings in the instant contempt petition shall stand closed and the rule, if any, framed, shall stand discharged.
