Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties. 2. Petition has been filed seeking mainly for the following relief:- "(i) To writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite party no-1 to send the proposal for "The President's Fire Service Medal for Gallantry" in favour of petitioner regarding incident dated 15.07.2017 in term of the citation dated 28.05.2020 as well as fresh proposal of recommendation dated 11.11.2025 send by opposite party no.2 in favour of the Petitioner like other similarly situated colleague involved in the same incident, in the interest of justice." 3. It has been submitted that recommendations for such award have already been made in favour of petitioner by the competent authority on 21.05.2018 and 11.11.2025. 4. Since considering petitioner's grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioner to file fresh representation before opposite party no.1 i.e. State of U.P. through Additional Chief Secretary, Home, U.P. Government, Civil Secretariat, Lucknow, - or any other competent authority who shall consider and decide the same, in light of aforesaid recommendations, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of fresh representation along with a Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Birendra Kumar Yadav, Amit Kumar Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
