Ms. Sonali Das Ms. Pallavi Priyadarshi …..for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The FIR was lodged two years after the date of occurrence. Two persons were allegedly defrauded by two other co-accused of certain sums of money with promise to bring them with the scheme of “Kanyashree”. There is no other material against the present petitioner except for the statement of a co-accused. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State refers to the statement of victim who has categorically taken the name of the present petitioner as the one who induced. This is a big scam which affected at least 230 victims. Investigation is going on. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary as against the present petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2 Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
