The petitioner has approached this court being aggrieved by the fact that her account was frozen. To that effect, information was furnished with the Inspector-in-charge of English Bazar Police Station. A report has been submitted by the State which reflects that there were specific directions passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai for de- freezing three accounts including the account of the writ petitioner. The said direction was sent to ICCI Bank, Malda Branch. In case, the petitioner is faced with further inconveniences, I direct that English Bazar Police Station would specifically direct the concerned branch of ICICI Bank to allow the petitioner to operate the account if not specifically wanted in any other case. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 8038 of 2025 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
