DATE : 8th July, 2025 P.C. :- 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner. 2. Considering the grievance of the Petitioner, we are of the opinion that Writ jurisdiction cannot be exercised in such circumstances. One of the allegations leveled by the Petitioner is against a private party i.e. a person owning the neighboring land who allegedly illegally broke the poles leading to disruption of electricity supply to the Petitioner. It appears that the Petitioner also approached the police authorities with certain complaints and non-cognizable offences were registered. 2025:BHC-AUG:17615-DB ( 2 ) 924 wp 7194.25 3. In such circumstances, when the electricity supply was disrupted allegedly due to the involvement of a private person, we are of the opinion that the Petitioner should have taken recourse to appropriate legal remedies including filing of a suit, if so required. The controversy sought to be raked up by the Petitioner necessarily involves disputed questions of facts and therefore, we decline to exercise Writ jurisdiction. The Writ petition is dismissed.
