Main appeal stands amicably settled before the National Lok Adalat on 10.5.2025 and in terms of compromise, respondent No. 3 Insurance Company has agreed to pay 1,25,000/- over and above the awarded amount to the ₹ appellant as full and final settlement. Learned counsel for the applicant/appellant submits that amount awarded vide award dated 3.1.2024 has been deposited by the Insurance Company before the MACT, Shimla and additional amount, agreed to be paid by the Insurance Company, i.e. 1,25,000/- has been deposited by ₹ respondent No. 3-Insurance Company in terms of compromise in the Registry of this Court. In view of above, amount deposited by the Insurance Company in the Registry of this Court in sequel to compromise arrived at between the parties, is ordered to be released in favour of applicant/appellant alongwith up to date interest, by remitting the same in her bank account, mentioned in para 4 of the application, photocopy of front page of passbook is annexed with the application.
