The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No. 371 of 2023 arising out of Ranka P.S. Case No.101 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. No.805 of 2023, for the offence under Sections 385/387/34 of the I.P.C., Sections 25(1-B)/a/ 25(6)/26/35 of the Arms Act, Section 17 of the C.L.A, Act, pending in the court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-II, Garhwa. On 01.07.2023, Ranka police apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons from the place near Sinjo Forest area and on search, one 12 bore gun was recovered from the possession of co-accused Sita Ram Chaudhary. It was submitted that petitioner has remained in custody for about two years. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-II, Garhwa, in connection with S.T.
