Heard Sri N.Bharath Simha Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri T.Sanjeeva Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.5 and Smt. Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.6. 2. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is against the inaction of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in disposing the sanctioned compensation amount of Rs.10,00,000/- to the petitioner. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition has placed before the Court a copy of the written remarks received from the 3rd respondent dated 21.04.2025. A perusal of the same reflects as follows:
“The Govt have issued G.O.Rt.No.312 Water Resources (R&R-A2) Department, Dt.06.07.2023 sanctioning an amount of Rs.454.60 Crores towards Payment of R&R Package to 10231 Project Affected Families (PAFs)/Project Displaced Families (PDFs) of 22 Villages in I, II & III under R&R of Gandikota Reservoir Project. But, BRO (Budget Release Order) not yet issued. 3
The District Collector, YSR District has sanctioned an amount of Rs.34,46,25,000/- to 523 PDFs of Kondapuram Supplementary Village vide Proceedings Ref No.C/R&R/106/2017, Dt.04.03.2024 and Writ Petitioner is one among the persons.
As CFMS portal is in freeze due to ending of the financial year, bills could not be presented in CFMS. The Chief Engineer (Projects), WRD, Kadapa has informed that an amount of Rs.8,91,51,000 is available against the Head of Account 4700-01-113-11-49-500-502 R&R Cash benefits. After scrutiny of the proposals submitted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Jammalamadugu action will be taken to upload the bills in favour of writ petitioner's in CFMS Portal subject to eligibility.”
4. The said written remarks of the 3rd respondent dated 21.04.2025 are placed on record. 5. Having regard to the above, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to 3rd respondent to pay the compensation amount sanctioned to the petitioner, within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
