Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:30522 Court No. - 4 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 1881 of 2025 Petitioner :- Ajeet Yadav Respondent :- Union Of India Through Ministry Of Home Affaires Of India And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Jawahir Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- A.S.G.I.,Pramod Kumar Singh Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard Sri Jawahir Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.K.Singh,
learned counsel for the respondents Union of India. The petitioner has been applicant to the post of constable in Delhi police, selection of which conducted by SSC Delhi and now order cancelling the candidature of the petitioner has been passed by the authority.
Learned counsel for the respondent has raised preliminary objection regarding maintainability of present petition before this Court. From the perusal of the order impugned, it transpires that petitioner participated in selection held in SSC Delhi for the post of constable in Delhi Police and petitioner's selection has been withheld also by the Delhi Police Authority. In the facts and circumstances of the case, therefore, jurisdiction lies with Delhi High Court. Accordingly, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter and this petition is consigned to records with liberty to the petitioner to apply before the Delhi High Court, if so advised.
