Supplementary affidavit filed today by the learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned AGA appearing for the respondents No. 1 to 4. 3. This petition has been filed praying for a mandamus commanding the respondents to ensure protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members. Further prayer is for a mandamus commanding the respondent to conduct a fair, impartial and time bound legal proceeding against the Station House Officer, Pratapgarh. 4. After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for petitioner states that in this regard an application has already been submitted to the Superintendent of Police, District Pratapgarh i.e. respondent No.3 vide his application dated 15.11.2025, copy of which is Annexure No.1 to the writ petition, that may be decided in accordance with law within stipulated period. 5. Learned AGA has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 6. Considering the aforesaid, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to decide the pending application of petitioner dated Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Dhananjay Tripathi, Ashish Gautam Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A.
