This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioners seeking to question the transfer made in the name of respondent no. 4 by certain sale deeds. 2. Submissions have been made that the land has been transferred by the persons belonging to Schedule Caste Category, which is in violation of provisions of Section 98 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 3. A perusal of the petition indicates that except for a recital that the petitioners are public spirited persons and having a depth indulgence of public concern, not a word has been indicated to show the petitioners' involvement in any public service. 4. Apparently, on account of the reasons which have not been disclosed, a representation has been sent on 10.11.2025 by post to the District Collector which has been followed by filing the present petition on 15.12.2025. 5. Filing of petitions, purportedly in public interest, without indicating any trigger and/or having undertaken any inquiry/research into the subject matter, cannot be countenanced. 6. The petition has no substance, the same is therefore, dismissed.
