It is alleged that during a vehicle check, the police found four quarter bottles of Tropicana VSOP Brandy in the car, and a case was registered against the petitioner for an offence under Section 34 (a) of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act. 3. This Court directed the Assistant Public Prosecutor to assist on the limits prescribed by law for permissible possession of liquor. G.O.Ms.No.310 dated 26.10.2020 was submitted. In this regard. As per the said G.O., an individual is permitted to carry a certain quantity of liquor for personal use. It is submitted that since the petitioner was carrying four quarter bottles of Tropicana VSOP Brandy, the case was registered against him.
