By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is presently working on the post of Sub-Inspector, is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities for necessary correction in the gradation list dated 06/04/2023. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the gradation list has been prepared by the respondent authorities without adhering to the provision prescribed in the circular dated 09/12/2015 and ignoring the merit of the petitioner. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 21/02/2025 (Annexure P/6) before the DGP/ Respondent No.2, however, till date the respondents have not considered the same. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State would submit that the gradation list has been prepared by the ADGP (Administration)/ respondent No.3. He submits that if the petitioner will submit a fresh representation before the respondent No.3, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and necessary decision will be taken within the stipulated time. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents as well as the pleadings made by the petitioner. 5. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the counsel for the State and looking to the fact that earlier the petitioner has submitted a representation questioning the gradation list prepared 3 / 3 by the respondent No.3, which has not been decided till date, the petitioner is permitted to file a fresh representation before the respondent No.3 raising all his grievance as raised in this writ petition, within a period of 20 days. In the event of filing of such representation, the respondent No.3 is directed to consider the representation to be submitted by the petitioner and take appropriate decision in accordance with law, within a further period of 30 days from the date of filing of such representation. 6.
