This petition seeks issuance of direction in the nature of mandamus directing the opposite party no.2 to transfer the investigation of FIR No.744 of 2024, under Sections 316(2), 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(4), 340(2) of B.N.S., 2023, Police Station Kotwali Nagar, District Barabanki. 3. Learned A.G.A.,on the basis of averments made in the counter affidavit duly sworn by Shri Arun Kumar Singh, Incharge Crime Branch, Barabanki, submits that on an application preferred by the complainant/petitioner, the Superintendent of Police, Barabanki has transferred the investigation of the aforesaid case to the Crime Branch, Barabanki by means of order dated 24.12.2024, a copy of which has been annexed as Annexure No. C.A.1 to the counter affidavit. He further submits that in pursuance of the order dated 24.12.2024, the Additional Superintendent of Police (South), Barabanki has entrusted the investigation of the aforesaid case to Shri Arun Kumar Singh, Incharge Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Arvind Kumar, Ajay Deep Verma Counsel for Respondent(s) : G.A. Raj Kumar Gupta .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Secy. Deptt. Of Home Lko And Others .....Respondent(s) Crime Branch, Barabanki by means of order dated 27.12.2024, a copy of which has been annexed as Annexure No.C.A.2 to the counter affidavit.
